One of my childhood friends just got engaged. It’s so weird because I was always the one who was going to get married right away and have kids and she was the one who was going to go out and experience life. And now the roles have switched.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my childhood friends and how dramatically things have changed. It blows my mind on a regular basis. To see the goals and dreams we had as kids to come to the point where we are now. Where two of us aren’t really pursuing anything. And the other two of us have new, crazy, dreams that we are pursuing and successfully reaching. Oh life, what a weird and crazy thing you are.
